Can I donate my vehicle without a title in California - CA?
In California you can donate your car or any vehicle without a certificate of title. However, you have to obtain the appropriate form from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in order to do this.
For vehicles 1997 or new you need to obtain a reg 262 form. If you want to find more information about this form, you can at the DMV site.
