Dear Executive Director,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you and your organization for the kind donation of "Teddy Bears" which my department received a while back. I regret that this letter is so late in coming, however, due to me being away for an extended period of training, I was not aware that your organization had not been acknowledged for this gift.

We have been using bears such as these for about ten years now, and we always marvel at the positive affect that they have on young children who have experienced a traumatic event. Also, they give us positive feedback from the community as well. We consider the bears a necessary item in our emergency vehicles' list of equipment.

Again, I thank you for the supply of bears. We will surely put them to good use. Should you ever wish to contribute more bears, please feel free to contact me.
