| We would like to thank you for supplying our department with teddy bears from the "Teddy Bear" program. This is a great way for police and children to interact in a positive manner. On July 19,2000, Zone 5 will be holding our Second Annual Open House. The Open House is held at the station and it involves a tour of the station, a variety of public safety displays, free hot dogs and hamburgers, games and prizes for children and crime prevention workshops for adults. Last year we had more than 200 children in attendance and we have had positive feedback from the community. We are requesting to have additional teddy bears sent so that we may give them out at the Open House in addition to officers passing out the teddy bears while on patrol, our Open House will reach a larger amount of children.
