Executive Director,

On behalf of the Henderson Police Department, I wish to thank your organization for the "Teddy Bear Cops" that we received prior to the holidays. They have been distributed to our officers and I believe several have already been given to children that we've come into contact during the busy holiday season.

Please accept our thanks for these bears as they are a wonderful way in which to show children that have been affected by tragedy, or who are simply scared, that we are indeed humans with hearts underneath the midnight blue uniform.
