Dear Executive Director,

Just a note to thank you and your organization. The Downsville EMS always tried to keep a stuffed animal on the ambulance in case of children emergencies. When we received the teddy bears from your organization, we immediately put 2 on each ambulance.

Recently we had three calls in a period of 10 days which included 3 children. We gave them a teddy to hold on to and they just loved it. One of the children was a 2 year old girl who held it all the way to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital the staff thought it was a great idea because it wasn't to big as to get in the way while they were working on the child. The hospital staff also showed the child how the teddy also can be fixed. They had to give the child a I. V. in the leg, so they took a pen top and taped it to the leg of the teddy to show her even the teddy can get a I. V. The other two children were picked up during school hours so they also enjoyed having a teddy to hold on to while they rode to the hospital.

Reading over your letter again I see you stated you would send us more when needed, I do commend your agency that we can all work together to help our communities. We do have two on the ambulance, so at this time we do not need more, but I will leave you a name to send more to, I am sure with the summer on it's way we will be needing more.
