	Dear Executive Directory: This is an extremely over due thank you for the Teddy Bear Cops you sent to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department over a year ago! The box got squirreled away until it surfaced yesterday. I'm glad to report, though, that the little teddy bears were eagerly received and will be used by our Family Services Bureau and in the Child Development/Community Policing (CDCP) program, a collaborative effort by the Police Department and the Department of Social Services that directs community resources to children who have been victims of or witnessed violence.
