From all the sites I visited regarding donating my VERY used car yours was the only one that truthfully explained that the I.R.S. is very selective as far as how much a person can actually deduct from their income tax. I now realize that the other sites are willing to give you any value you want for the car. Whether or not that value is accepted by the I.R.S. as tangible deduction is another story. You'll only find out in three years if your audited.

I do so hope that the sale of my car will be helpful. You have been terrific getting back to me so quickly regarding any questions or concerns that I might have had. You also provided ALL the links or information that anyone could possibly need. I'd heard so many horror stories about car donations that I must admit I bordered on paranoid sometimes. I called IRS to check on you all, and you all are in good standing.
