Minneapolis Firefighters Donation

Firefighters and emergency services in Minneapolis carry bears in their vehicles to give children involved in fires or traumatic events such as car accidents. Kids can be quite scared when involved in these situations and the emergency personnel welcome the use of these bears to calm down the kids and give them something warm and cuddly they can hold on to.

Vehicle Donation Helps Woman in Need

“Our primary goal is for our clients to become self-sufficient. Because this is a rural area, it is vital to be able to have a vehicle to get groceries, employment and, in Charlene’s case, a way to get medical care.’’ Alonzo said.
Mrs. West then proceeded to tell us how she came to be without a vehicle in first place and how on a cold winter’s day her trusty ‘92 Honda Civic broke down. And with no funds to repair she was in dire straits.
